How Does CNC Milling Work?
Step 1: Design CAD Models
The CNC milling process beginswith creating 2D or 3D drawings ofthe desired part using CAD/CAM software like Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks.These tools allow you to specify dimensions and tolerance requirements.
Step 2: CAD Models to CNC Programs
Utilize CAM software to transform CAD designs into G-code, carrying out essential manufacturing processes such as cutting sequences, tool paths, speeds, and movements.
Step 3: Set Up CNC Machine and EMO
Place the workpiece onto the work surface of the CNC machine, affix the cutting tool to the spindle, and transfer the G-code. Commence the machining program, and the CNC machine will carry out all essential operations to manipulate the workpiece.
Step 4: Inspection and Surface Treatment
